荆轲刺秦王 (The Emperor and the Assassin)

In this week’s Chinese lesson, we are going to watch a Chinese film called The Emperor and the Assassin (荆轲刺秦王-jin ke ci qin wang). This film is based on a historical story during Zhan Guo (Warring States Period, 476-221 BC), before the first emperor Qin united China.  Students from our Chinese Course please read about the history background before coming to the lesson on Wednesday. We will also make and eat some Chinese dumplings before the film!
