Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!

“Zhong qiu jie kuai le” to all of you who celebrate or admire this beautiful moon festival! You might have heard so many times the fairytale about the lady in the moon, however to an ancient agricultural culture, what this festival means is harvest after a year’s hardwork in the fields.

Here we would like to share a beautifully made short film of how to grow rice in China. It is original, educational and touching. It makes us ponder upon the meaning of life.

Will we inspire you? 

Our Inspiring Chinese course will start the new term from 28th September. We are looking forward to having the lessons for another 10 weeks(every Wednesday)! Welcome new students to join us. This course is open to all levels. 

Rebecka’s China Dream

Rebecka is originally from China, however it’s her first trip to China after 17 years! We know she is very excited to see her home town and to practise all the Chinese she has been learning with us. We are seeing China with her through her photos. We are so happy for you, Rebecka!

Matt arrived China!

Our voluntary teacher Matt has arrived his new home in China! He will be teaching and exploring China for 40 days from today. How exciting!

Teach in Private Schools in China


2 private schools in Guangdong, China require 2 English teachers.

* Both schools are established private schools with dedicated staff to look after foreign teachers. All classrooms are equipped with computer with internet and projector.

* Students’ age varies from 7-16.

* Each class has approximately 30 students or less.

* 20 teaching hours per week. Optional extra paid work at weekends available.

* Y6,000-8,000 per month (approx. £600-£800). Free fully furnished private accommodation on/near campus.

* 12 months contract to begin with, can be extended.

* Start September 2016 or ASAP if applicants prefer.

* Travel allowance and free language exchange classes.

* Caring service from before departure to settle down. You can always reach our staff by email/phone.

All English teaching jobs are open to degree holders with a high standard of written and spoken English (native speakers preferred). Teaching experience or TEFL certificates  are essential for work visa. We provide assistance in obtaining work visas for China. We will also give you cultural training before you leave!
